With the wide availability of scientific information, the ERA of information asymmetry and paternal approach in provision health care services is fast becoming the thing of the past. Evidence informed decision making is not only an ethical or moral imperative, it is a legal obligation. But health care systems across the globe are suffering from non-availability of quality evidence, in the form that can be directly applied in practice to guide many of their decisions. Consumers are constantly in a state of mistrust and uncertainity due to unauthentic information overload, with conflicting interests. Hence a revolution is needed to script this new “ERA”

EVIDENCE GENERATION
Generation of quality evidence by appropriate scientific studies is the cornerstone of evidence informed health care provision.
EVIDENCE SYNTHESIS
Evidence generated on small number of subjects in specified population groups, suffers the problem of generalizability.
EVIDENCE DISSEMINATION
Even the best quality of available evidence is not in a form amenable to adopt in day to day practice for health care providers.
